For Black Friday, many sales promotions promise lower prices for iPhones, iPads, Macs, Apple Watch, AirPods and Apple accessories, and software for macOS, iOS & Co is also available at a discount. Apple itself is holding a shopping event, it starts on Friday. Instead of price reductions, there are App Store gift cards with a value of 25 to 200 euros as an add-on for many products. The gift cards replenish the Apple ID balance, which can be used to purchase software, services and content in Apple’s digital stores. Subscriptions from Apple One, iCloud + or third-party services offered via app can also be paid for in this way.
Black-Friday-Deals für iPhones
When buying an iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, or iPhone SE attaches Apple during its shopping campaign (from Friday) a gift card in the amount of 50 euros. With this discount, Apple is pushing its iPhone prices down roughly on the offers in stores. Amazon is currently selling the iPhone SE (2020, 64 GB) for just under 440 euros – without any Black Friday campaign.
At Mobilcom Debitel there are interesting offers on older iPhones, the iPhone XR (2018, 64 GB) is available for 414 euros. The iPhone XR with 128 GB of storage space was available from Debitel for just under 500 euros, but it seems to be sold out.
Really good offers for the iPhone 13 have not yet been found. Amazon Spain has the iPhone 13 (2021, 128 GB) in red or blue after all, for just under 860 euros in the range – instead of the usual around 900 euros at Apple and in stores. It can also be ordered to Germany.
Black Friday deals for Macs
Apple has included a 100 euro gift card each with the first M1 MacBook Air, 13 “MacBook Pro and Mac mini. The new MacBook Pro with M1 Pro and M1 Max, however, is excluded from the manufacturer’s offer.
M1 Macs are also available in stores at interesting prices. At Amazon, the MacBook Air (M1 2020) in the basic version and gray currently costs 937 euros. The dealer offers the M1-Mac mini from 696 euros.
With the 27 “iMac, Apple beckons with a 200 euro gift card. Buying a Mac with an Intel processor should, however, be well considered one year after the big switch to its own ARM-based processors began. iPads
Apple’s gift card deal only applies to the iPad Pro models with 11 “and 12.9” displays. After all, the manufacturer includes a 100 euro credit with these devices. Otherwise there are no particularly exciting offers to report for iPads – probably also because Apple can barely deliver and new models such as the iPad mini 6 still have weeks of waiting.
Apple AirPods
When you buy the AirPods 3 and the older AirPods 2, Apple gives you a 25 euro gift card – a very attractive offer, especially for the brand new AirPods 3. With the AirPods Pro, Apple includes a gift card of 50 euros. An even better offer: The AirPods Pro (with new MagSafe case) are to be found at Amazon Italy for just under 190 euros.
Together with the AirPods Max, you get a 75 euro gift card from Apple. However, the over-the-ear headphones are well below Apple’s price of 613 euros, so you shouldn’t buy them from the manufacturer, even with a gift card. Cyberport sells the AirPods Max, for example, for just under 420 euros.
Apple Watch
Apple only offers a 50 euro gift card for the older Apple Watch Series 3 and SE models. the Series 3 also leads Amazon as a Black Friday deal from just under 190 euros. Those interested in buying should consider that this model series is from 2017 and does not support the newer dials, for example. How long Apple will continue to deliver watchOS updates for it also remains unclear. Apple introduced the Apple Watch SE in autumn 2020.
