The Conrad Sourcing Platform has chosen for Looker, the provider of business intelligence (BI) and analytics solutions belonging to Google Cloud, decided to be able to provide partners with valuable insights on their product portfolio on its marketplace in the future. An important factor for Conrad the decision was time-to-value. In less than a month, the first sellers on the Marketplace got an insight into the most important key figures of their product portfolios, can respond better to customer needs and quickly adapt to the boom in demand as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Conrad offers the highest quality on its marketplace

Conrad offers manufacturers, dealers and distributors one on its marketplace Access to 2.3 million B2B customers in Germany. With a manageable integration effort, they can tap into new target groups, build up or expand their online business or introduce new products to the market without risk.

Since the marketplace was launched three years ago, the range has been continuously expanded to include over six million product offers – with the highest quality standards. In order to maintain this quality, it was important to Conrad to enable the providers to easily manage their products on the marketplace, to optimize their offerings based on data and to adapt them even better to customer needs.

An interactive dashboard with all insights

With the integration of Powered By Looker, all marketplace partners can now access the reporting platform and carry out data analyzes of their offers. On an interactive dashboard you can see all insights at a glance and can now call up key performance indicators for your products – including the traffic on the product pages, price comparisons with other providers and the number of customers who are interested in certain products. After a proof of concept proved to be extremely successful, Conrad has now rolled out the solution to its entire network of marketplace partners.
