Dealers can test everything here for six months free of charge – eCommerce Magazin

Fulfillment services: In cooperation with DHL and the German Trade Association (HDE), the company enables free use of its fulfillment tools solutions – completely from ship-from-store to click & collect – for half a year.

Fulfillment services as an opportunity

“Whether fashion and lifestyle, consumer electronics or leisure needs – operators of stationary shops are currently suffering severely from the restrictions. Regardless of how creatively they develop spontaneous solutions for their customers, they all only have a future in the medium term if they interlink their branch network with full-fledged e-commerce offers – from shops to fulfillment – and redefine the role of stores. It is important to seize the opportunity now and launch future-proof services, ”says Björn Dröschel, Managing Director of OC fulfillment GmbH. “This is our motivation to support retailers quickly and easily against the background of the second lockdown and in times of temporary store closings.”

Apply and secure the future

Five companies will be selected from all participating interested parties. You get full access to all solutions on the fulfillmenttools platform, including support and advice on implementation. “Our offer has a modular structure and is flexibly scalable. Depending on your needs, the all-round carefree package includes everything from a distributed order management system for the intelligent distribution of online orders to the ideal fulfillment location, through in-store fulfillment solutions and automated shipping processes to real-time insights with the back office and Analytics module ”, says Björn Dröschel.

Equipped with these tools, retailers from different industries can position themselves sustainably with digital business models during the lockdown and beyond. Offers such as Click & Collect and Ship-from-Store as well as the seamless link with DHL as the leading logistics partner in Germany offer end customers a comprehensive service landscape and thus ensure that retailers are successful in e-commerce. In addition to DHL, HDE is also on board in this support campaign for German medium-sized companies. As consortium leader, it leads the Competence Center Retail, which takes many measures to help retailers in times of crisis.
