Deutsche Telekom expands stake in US subsidiary


Deutsche Telekom grabs further parts of its subsidiary T-Mobile US. In addition, the Bonn-based company is selling its business in the Netherlands. With the completion of both transactions, the stake in the US subsidiary increased by 5.3 points to 48.4 percent, the Dax group announced on Tuesday. For example, Telekom wants to buy around 45 million T-Mobile US shares from the Japanese conglomerate Softbank by means of a capital increase.
