Getting started with Python is easy, but only those who master idiomatic code can take full advantage of the programming language. in the new intensive work scope of the Golem Academy experienced developers will receive an understandable introduction to the basics of the programming language using practical examples. We also convey the benefits of different programming paradigms for optimal problem solving.
The trainer is Mike Müller, the founder and CEO of the Python Academy in Leipzig. He is a founding member of the Leipzig Python User Group, co-organizer of numerous Python conferences and chairman of the board of the Python Software Association. He has been using the programming language since 1999 and has been teaching it since 2004.
Python supports both procedural and object-oriented as well as many functional features that have their specific advantages and disadvantages depending on the task. In the course, participants learn how to best use these different approaches.
The workshop lasts two days and takes place via video conference via Jitsi Meet, participants only need the current Chrome browser. We send all necessary information regarding the access data in advance by email.
Solid knowledge of at least one programming language is required to participate. Experience with different programming paradigms is not essential, but an advantage.
