Huawei Introduces Nova 5 Series With 4 Cameras

Huawei introduced the new mid-upper segment smartphone series Nova 5 at its launch event in China.

Having made a good start in 2019 with the P30 series, Huawei introduced the relatively more affordable smartphone series Nova 5.

Huawei Nova 5, the first device to use the new, eight-core 7 nm Kirin 810 chipset, delivers significant performance. Consisting of two 2.27 GHz Cortex-A76 and six 1.88 GHz Cortex-A55 cores, the processor also promises enhanced graphics performance with the Mali-G52 graphics unit. Nevertheless, one of the biggest features of the phone is the NPU, which brings artificial intelligence dedicated to the phone to Huawei's mid / top segment devices.

The Huawei Nova 5 is powered by the Kirin 810 processor, but the top segment, the Nova 5 Pro, is powered by the Kirin 980 processor.

When we look at the camera section, the Huawei Nova 5 series welcomes us with a 4-camera installation. In addition to the main camera with 48 MP resolution, the installation of a 4 camera camera is completed with a 16 MP resolution ultra wide angle lens, a 2 MP depth sensor and a 2 MP resolution macro lens. On the front there is a 32 MP f / 2.0 camera with a drop notch.

When we look at the general features of the phone, we find a drop-notched 6.39 inch Full HD + OLED screen. The phone is equipped with a fingerprint reader for security and is embedded in the display.

Huawei also said the new phone series will support 40 W fast charging. Thanks to the quick charge, the device will be able to charge 50% in 15 minutes and 85% in half an hour. It is currently unknown whether this technology applies to both devices.

Huawei also introduced a phone called the Nova 5i, a hole screen, Kirin 710 chipset and a 4,000 mAh battery was introduced. The Huawei Nova 5i also comes with a 24 MP resolution main camera, an 8 MP ultra wide angle lens, a 2 MP depth sensor and a 2 MP macro lens.
