Mysterious glow: the pictures of the week (week 40)

This time we are starting the c’t photography week with a skyline. Not as spectacular as that of New York, nothing as concise as that of Frankfurt and hardly as futuristic as the towers of Dubai – DiSe.fotografie presents the gable fronts of Rothenburg ob der Tauber in a fairytale-like and compact way. The setting evening sun makes the little windows of the pointed buildings glow mysteriously.

The last picture of the week is also characterized by a cleverly staged lighting mood. Photographer lichtbild brings a mushroom to life not with the help of the evening sun, but with a skillful alignment of the flash. Its screen seems to glow from inside.

We start the week of pictures with this fairytale evening scene: It shows the pointed gables of Rothenburg ob der Tauber. The setting evening sun literally makes the windows of the houses glow. The picture was taken by DiSe.fotografie. (Image: DiSe.fotografie)
