Neuffer windows + doors got a new majority owner in 2022

After the exploratory process, Neuffer windows + doors and IFN Holding AG, based in Traun in Upper Austria, have successfully reached an agreement. Subject to the approval of the Federal Cartel Office, IFN will become the new majority shareholder and, among other things, will take over the shares of the Swedish investment company Latour in the Stuttgart-based company, which was founded in 1872. Neuffer, with its online shops such as Fenster.com and fensterversand.com one of the pioneers of e-commerce in Germany. Together with IFN, one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of windows, doors, facades and sun protection, the Stuttgart-based company is now bundling its competencies and pursuing the ambitious growth strategy of becoming the world’s strongest online player in the window and door segment.

The integration into the IFN Group supports Fenster.com in its expansion and internationalization strategy. Both the experience and industry expertise of the IFN network and the growth capital acquired enable international expansion into the Belgian, Austrian and Swiss markets. The acquisition of Fenster.com is also part of the growth strategy for IFN Holding AG: “With Fenster.com, we are strengthening our expertise in alternative sales channels and digital consulting and are strategically expanding the growing e-commerce business field,” adds Christian Klinger, co-owner and Company spokesman of the IFN-Holding AG.

The Stuttgart-based company Neuffer was founded in 1872 by Ludwig-Ulrich Neuffer and received the title “Court Glazier” from the Royal Württemberg Court Building Office as early as 1887. With orders for the Königsbau and the Old Castle, Neuffer established itself as a well-known window manufacturer beyond the borders of Württemberg. In 1996, the company focused on selling windows and doors.
