Preview: New PC Games in September 2019

[ad_1]

Just in time for this year's Gamescom in Cologne, many new games are coming up. While at the show – with some exceptions – tend to be presented games that will be released in a few months or years, already in September, a handful of gaming highlights on the shelf. Among other things, the two throw competitors FIFA and PES their newest offshoot on the market, goes for racing game fans WRC 8 at the start and Gears 5 offers fast-paced co-op. GreedFall also publishes a promising fantasy RPG.

On September 13th will be released Borderlands 3 after seven years the successor of the second part published in 2012. The wacky loot shooter with sci-fi setting and unmistakable graphics style gives you the choice between four new "vault hunters", each with its own abilities and customizations. Time is the third part a few years after Borderlands 2. This time rises on the planet Pandora an insane cult, which calls itself "Children of the Vault" and is under the leadership of the Calipso twins Troy and Tyreen. The goal of the two is to bring the bandits against each other and to secure power over the galaxy. As in the parts before you have again the opportunity to contest the campaign as a single player or in co-op mode. Borderlands 3 is released exclusively in the Epic Games Store.

Gears 5

With Gears 5 will be released on 09.09. the sixth offshoot in the Gears of War Universe. The third-person shooter should offer in addition to the more profound story also five different game modes.

Almost a year after the release on the consoles, will be released on 3 September Spyro Reignited Trilogy for the PC. The popular classic has been completely redesigned and runs with the Unreal Engine 4. The developer has left the story, the level design and the basic gameplay completely untouched. In the Jump 'n' Run with action-adventure-elements you can explore over 100 levels as Dragon Spyro. You will always be accompanied by the dragonfly Sparks. The trilogy includes all three original Playstation classics: Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage! (known in Europe as Gateway to Glimmer) and Spyro: Year of the Dragon.

On 24.09. is the sequel to the sci-fi action RPG The Surge. Behind The Surge 2 is the German developer Studio Deck13 with in-house engine, which has become known mainly through the adventure Ankh and published in 2007 Jack Keane. In what is often referred to as the "sci-fi dark soul" game, one arrives by air to Jericho City in a mysterious storm that forces the aircraft to an emergency landing on the outskirts of the city. Weeks later, you wake up in a deserted prison while martial law is enforced on the streets, robots run amok and a growing nanostructure is brewing over the city. As in the predecessor, you compete against huge opponents and equip yourself with weapons, abilities, implants and drones.
