Remote maintenance software: Permira's Teamviewer is growing faster than expected

In the fourth quarter of 2019, billing increased by 35 percent to EUR 101.4 million.

In total, Teamviewer had 467,000 subscribers at the end of last year, almost 200,000 more than in the same period last year. The Swabian company grew particularly among enterprise customers. Teamviewer's enterprise offering had 698 subscribers at year end, compared to 419 in the same period last year. On February 10, the company presents detailed annual results.

When it went public in September 2019, Teamviewer was valued at € 5.25 billion. The proceeds from the IPO went entirely to Permira. The sale of Teamviewer to Permira was important, one of the spokesmen said in September: This was how professional management could be established and new departments and structures established.
