Istanbul Technical University Satellite Communication and Remote Sensing Application and Research Center (HUSH), released satellite images that reveal the effect of the flood disaster, in which we lost 81 of our citizens. Director of UHUZAM, who made statements on the subject prof. Dr. Mustafa Yanlak, “As UHUZAM, we conducted a study on the damages after the flood disaster with high resolution satellite images. In the images, we saw the effects of the flood very clearly. The flood disaster occurred in different parts of the Black Sea, but mostly Bozkurt and Abana loss of life and damage occurred in the regions.‘ he said.

“Especially due to climate change, the distribution of precipitation has changed.
