Shippeo has also expanded its global presence and gained new customers in North and Latin America and Asia. New international customers include Coca-Cola HBC, one of The Coca Cola Company’s largest strategic bottlers, Nexans, a provider in the energy sector, the US freight company XPO Logistics and the Woco Group, a component supplier for automobile manufacturers.

Other leading companies have signed up for the Real-time visibility solution decided by Shippeo. These are Sappi, a provider of graphic paper, packaging and specialty paper, the Italian retailer Conad, the French retailer for electrical appliances Fnac Darty Group, the e-commerce provider Studio Moderna and IDS, a 4PL provider with logistics control tower Solutions.

High customer retention rate with Shippeo

“Our customers are deciding more and more to use our growing product portfolio on a larger scale. The high retention rate of our customers is a direct result of this. The latter is enjoying increasing popularity in the wake of the pandemic, the accident on the Suez Canal and the global shortage of containers. Shippeo will double its workforce by the end of 2021

The Shippeo team has now grown to over 230 employees. Ninety new team members have joined the team since January. Shippeo wants to have doubled its workforce by the end of the year. Some veteran managers have already made the decision to move to Shippeo, such as:

In addition, Shippeo is now expanding into North America. As part of this strategic expansion, the company welcomes Christopher Mazza as Senior Vice President International Growth. He will be responsible for growing Shippeo in the region and running the business there. The manager has extensive experience in the transport & logistics sector and was involved in the founding of ClearMetal, where he played a key role in business development before joining project44 after the company was taken over.

Expansion of strategic partnerships

Shippeo recently announced a new strategic partnership with Savoye, a systems integrator for supply chain applications, and Tesisquare, a leading provider of supply chain execution. In addition, Shippeo is now working with Siemens DL, a leading IT provider of global supply chain management solutions.

These cooperations should make it easier for customers to overcome hurdles in transport management through deep integration into transport management systems and thus more easily take advantage of the many advantages of real-time transparency. “We are very proud of the results we have achieved and the fact that still not a single customer has left us.
