This is how a digital agency turns the leading sauna shop into a shopping experience – eCommerce Magazin

In order to be able to offer them a modern shopping experience that anticipates the feel-good factor that will later be sought, the sauna shop brought in Klafs Interlutions on board.

“With around 350 products, we have a diverse and high-quality range in our sauna shop. For the relaunch, it was therefore important to us that our customers find their way around intuitively and receive an emotional and informative shopping experience. Last but not least, together with Interlutions, we have also decided on a new technical basis so that we are still optimally positioned for the future, ”says Florian Löffelad, online marketing manager at Klafs.

At the start of the project, the agency and customer jointly defined ideas and goals for the project in several workshops. Based on this, Interlutions developed a design prototype that complements the existing Klafs catalog world translated into a usability-centered web design. Due to the corona restrictions, this project was one of the first that the digital lead agency carried out exclusively digitally from start to finish.

As part of the technical implementation, Interlutions migrated the shop from the original Magento software to the shop software Shopware. Thanks to the experience worlds, this makes it possible to design product pages in an appealing way and to maintain content very easily in the backend.

In the final phase of the project, Interlutions supported the customer in setting up the content and conducted content management training for the new system. These included the use of Shopware 6 from the editor’s point of view as well as for shop managers who are responsible for item data, customer service processes and order management. The shop has already been launched in Germany, the launch in Austria and Switzerland is in preparation.
