TikTok hub for small and medium-sized companies – now launched in Germany – eCommerce magazine

TikTok is also the ideal place for SMBs to tap into a large community of dedicated and like-minded companies.

With the launch of the TikTok Hub, the TikTok Ads Manager, which was first announced in July 2020, is available for German customers. The powerful Self-service platform makes it easy to create and manage your own TikTok campaigns. The TikTok Ads Manager was developed to enable companies of all sizes to get started on the platform and to advertise “100 percent TikTok”.

Powerful tools for planning and measuring success

The TikTok hub consists of a whole series of instructions and tips that are available to business owners – for example, how to use the Ads Manager to set goals and KPIs (traffic, conversions), target groups, budget and the campaign schedule as well as to determine the bid method and delivery type.

A TikTok advertising campaign aimed at SMEs will be running in Germany from January 19. The claim “Make your advertising 100% TikTok” is intended to show, using sample campaigns, how traditional advertising can be converted into appealing videos for TikTok, while at the same time showing how easy it is for small and medium-sized businesses to create their own content . The following examples show how SMEs are already using TikTok and reaching new and existing customers:

  • Browly (@browlycare) was founded in Frankfurt in 2019 and revolves around everything you need for the care and styling of eyebrows. The passion of the two founders Melinda Schmadl and Amir Mirza is to develop vegan, animal-free products that come in environmentally friendly packaging.
  • Halal Online Shop (@halal_online_shop), which was originally founded in Cologne, sells halal sweets. Since founder Tayfun Öner could not help himself to the regular sweets in the supermarket or at birthday parties that contained pork gelatine as a child, he decided to do something himself. His vision is to offer the world’s largest selection of halal sweets.
  • MyFamily (@myfamilyforpets), based in a small Italian village, manufactures pet accessories and supplies. The company has experienced rapid growth in recent years and offers a whole range of unique and tailor-made ID tags – worldwide.
  • Omolola Jewelery (@omololajewellery) Founded by siblings in 2018, is a UK-based jewelry brand creating modern Afrocentric jewelry inspired by Yoruba and other West African art and architecture. The company founded by the siblings was born out of the desire to honor West African cultures and to create connections to their homeland.

The TikTok hub was launched in the UK, France, Italy and Spain in December 2020 and will also be available in Germany from January 19, 2021. (sg)
