The B2B platform operator Visable has filled the newly created position of Chief Commercial Officer with David Vitrano at the beginning of 2022. In this position he is responsible for all sales and marketing activities.
With the addition of David Vitrano as the new Chief Commercial Officer, Visable, operator of the online B2B platforms Europages and wlw (formerly “Werliefer was”), is expanding its management team. The 44-year-old has been in charge of all sales and marketing activities since January 3, 2022. Patrick Sostmann was most recently responsible for sales as Chief Sales Officer. After his departure, Peter F. Schmid, CEO of Visable, temporarily managed the division.
Seamless cooperation between marketing and sales at Visable
With the newly created management position, Visable is aligning the management structure even more closely with achieving the company’s ambitious goals. The bundling of competencies is intended to support seamless cooperation between the marketing and sales departments in order to drive growth and further internationalization of Visable. “What convinced me at Visable was the passion with which change, innovation and growth are lived. New COO brings 15 years of management experience
David Vitrano brings more than 15 years of management experience from the global, complex and highly dynamic business environments of the software, online and manufacturing industries. Before joining Visable, he held the position of Managing Director in the Xing E-Recruiting division at New Work SE. Under his leadership, the area developed into the largest growth driver with the highest share of sales of New Work SE.
Previously, Vitrano held management positions at the medium-sized company HSM GmbH for several years. Most recently, he headed global brand and product communication there and was responsible for product management. Vitrano studied economics at the Pforzheim University of Applied Sciences. He later completed another degree at the Steinbeis University of Applied Sciences in Berlin with a Master of Business Administration (Executive MBA).
