XMG Neo 15 (E20): Schenker increases battery capacity by 50 percent

Schenker has that XMG Neo 15 (E20) presented, a significantly revised version of the previous XMG Neo 15 (E19). The German manufacturer uses a new barebone with modified connections, faster interior and updated components such as the display or the WLAN module.

With 360 x 243 x 23 mm at 2.1 kg, the XMG Neo 15 measures and weighs as much as its predecessor. Thunderbolt 3 was introduced for the connections instead of the previous mini-display port, plus three USB-A, an HDMI 2.0b, an RJ-45 for Gigabit Ethernet, an SD card reader and dedicated 3.5 mm jacks for microphone and headphones. The keyboard has optomechanical switches, a number pad is available. There is also a Microsoft Precision Clickpad made of glass. For the display, Schenker continues to use a matt 1080p panel with IPS technology, the frequency increases from 144 Hz to 240 Hz.

On the processor side, the change from the six-core Core i7-9750H to the Core i7-10750H takes place, but the new Hexacore clocks a bit higher and is coated with liquid metal thermal compound. The two SO-DIMM slots take up to 64 GB DDR4 RAM. Geforce RTX 2060 to Geforce RTX 2070 Super are available for the dedicated graphics units, so far the offer started with a Geforce GTX 1660 Ti.

As before, there are two M.2280 slots for NVMe / Sata SSDs, the battery has a significantly higher capacity of 91 watt hours instead of 62 watt hours. The basic configuration of the XMG Neo 15 (E20) costs 1,650 euros with a two-year guarantee: For this there is the Core i7-10750H with 8 GB, a Geforce RTX 2060, a Sata SSD with 250 GB, also Bluetooth 5 and Wi-Fi 6 Availability should be available from mid-June.
